Are you looking for a field of study where your education will have a real impact? At KEV, you can enrol on a postgraduate Master’s programme focused on technologies that are essential to any modern household, factory or means of transport.
As part of the programme, you can choose from four specialisations – ranging from the design of power semiconductor technologies, through electromagnetic systems for energy conversion, to electromobility and propulsion systems for modern vehicles, or power electronics in general. We combine theory with practice so that, upon graduation, you will be prepared to tackle real-world problems in the energy sector, industry and transport.
Get involved whilst you’re studying
Do you want to gain more from your studies than just theoretical knowledge from lectures? Get involved in student, research and development projects, try your hand at real-world technical tasks and gain experience that you can use in your final dissertation and in your future career. Take a look at the projects you can work on here, choose a topic that interests you, and get in touch with the contact person listed.
Employment prospects for graduates
Graduates of our master’s degree specialisations find employment wherever modern electrical and energy systems are being developed – from power electronics, electric drives and electrical machines, through electromobility and transport technology, to industrial automation and the energy sector. They find employment in the development, design, modelling, testing and management of technical projects, whether in industrial companies, development centres or research institutions. Thanks to the integration of study with practical experience and modern technologies, they are prepared to work on innovative solutions within both Czech and international teams.
You can find out more about the content of the degree programmes, modules and career prospects after graduation under the individual programmes.
